Strategic human resource development based on strategic reference points in IT organizations

Human resource management faces many challenges due to environmental fluctuations, including rapid economic, political and technological changes, the breadth and complexity of competition, significant changes in the nature and composition of the workforce. One of the success factors for organizations is to focus on the strategic management of human resources. This is very much the case in organizations whose main mission is based on information and communication technology. The rapid pace of change in the technologies and infrastructures used in technological projects has made it necessary to use the most efficient and up-to-date methodologies to maintain and improve the efficiency of human resources. Meanwhile, ICT organizations face specific challenges and issues, such as: face-to-face communications, rapid changes in the workplace and colleagues, geographic dispersion in decentralized projects, and There are some issues that these factors can have on the human resources management model of these types of organizations. As a result, IT organizations need to apply their own human resource strategies. In this paper, the authors, while evaluating human resource strategy development methodologies, have used strategic reference points to design an appropriate strategy for human resource planning.
